Globoidal indexers are crossed shaft mechanisms that are used to transform the uniform rotary movement of the input shaft into an intermittent or oscillating movement of the output shaft. These globoidal rotary indexing units, using different motion laws, allow the constant speed of the input shaft to be changed into various speed changes on the output shaft.
